DIG IN with YOUR Mayor - Mayors' Breakfast

Join our community challenge. Have your Mayor serve you breakfast AND help raise 360,000 meals needed this summer so no one will go hungry in Waterloo Region. This event involves the 7 Mayors and the Regional Chair and will benefit The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank, Wilmot Family Resource Centre, Woolwich Community Services and the more than 100 programs that make up the Food Assistance Network. DIG IN

DIG IN is a one day region-wide Food & Fund Drive necessary to ensure the Food Assistance Network can continue to provide essential food support through the summer months. Visit the DIG IN page for the most up to date information regarding donation sites and activities. Look for the volunteers with green shirts at donation sites all over Waterloo Region and check out local businesses holding DIG IN activities: Paint by Munzy, Matter of Taste, Waterloo Region Museum, and Leon's. Remember to visit Waterloo Public Square for food trucks, family friendly activities including the Kitchener Rangers Street Team, carnival games, Face Painting by Kelly's Klowns and more.
