If you are in need of food please contact The Food Bank at 519-743-5576 to be connected with the most appropriate service. The Food Bank of Waterloo Region serves as a warehouse and distribution centre for 71 different food programs in the region. We do not provide direct service to the public. A list of our member agencies and programs with links to their websites (where available) is shown below.
Waterloo Region Shares is a collaborative initiative of the Food Assistance Network, working to implement nine recommendations in order to improve the coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness of the local food assistance system. The Food Assistance Network is made up of over 100 agencies and programs that distribute food throughout the Region.
